This week’s writing prompt is, My Favorite Apps.
While I use my phone for many things–email, Facebook, finding places to go and things to do–my “favorite” app would have to be Kindle. I have never owned a Kindle device because I have always had an iPhone and an iPad. I also love the way my Kindle app syncs between my phone and iPad. If my iPad dies. I can read on my phone and find my place. I also like that I don’t have to carry a separate device. As long as I have my phone, I have my books if I find that I have some time to kill while I’m out and about.
However, I do see the benefits of having a separate device, and I have been thinking about getting a Kindle proper. The battery lasts way longer on a Kindle and my kid is always taking my phone. I can’t see her being interested in playing with mommy’s Kindle. If the Kindle also syncs with my apps, I might just bite the bullet and get one. What do you think? Should I get a Kindle?
